Equipment

What soccer equipment is needed?

For their safety, Alberta Soccer does not permit players to wear any jewelry during games or practices. This includes: earrings, necklaces, bracelets, bobby pins. Taping of jewelry is not sufficient to prevent player injury.

All players provide their shoes, water bottles and shin pads.

Parents, please remember to wash
your child's jersey, shorts and socks frequently. Shin pads can also be washed and then air dried. Hot dryers can damage jerseys.

U4 to U8
players also provide their own shorts and socks which fully cover their shin pads.

Outdoor
U4 players should wear outdoor sneakers.

Outdoor U6 to U18 players should wear outdoor soccer cleats.

Indoor
U4 players should wear indoor sneakers.

Indoor U6 to U18 players should wear indoor soccer shoes (no outdoor cleats).

Jerseys

Timbit T-shirts are generously provided by Tim Hortons. The Timbit players (U4, U6, and U8's) can keep their t-shirts at the end of the season.

U10 to U18 jerseys are on loan to the players. Players will receive a jersey at the beginning of the season once they have provided their coach with a $100 jersey deposit cheque. At the end of the season jerseys need to be returned to the coach or the Fort Saskatchewan Soccer Office.

U10 to U18 players have a new uniform.

U10 to U18 players blue shorts and red socks are no longer included in the fees and given out each season. You can purchase as needed prior to the start of the season. Socks are $10 and shorts are $25. Addis tweaks their socks and socks every couple of years so there may be slight variations.
