New Volunteer Policy
We have a new Volunteer Deposit Policy effective starting 2022-23 indoor season.
In order to make volunteering more equitable, volunteer jobs will be assigned a commitment level depending on the time needed to complete and the deposit will be refunded to the family according to the level.

Payments, Fundraising Fee and Volunteer Deposit
Registration and payment are online only; there are no in-person registration dates. We do not take registrations at the Fort Sask Registration Day event.
If you need to pay by cheque or cash or are applying for KidsSport, please contact our sport coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org to make arrangements. The last day to do this is Sept 1 by noon.
You will be given the option to pay in full or pay half of the registration fee plus the volunteer deposit and fundraising fee when you register with the balance of the registration fees being charged to your credit card on Sept 9.
In order to make fundraising equitable for all soccer families, a $100 mandatory fundraising fee for Buster's Pizza discount cards will be added to the registration once per family.
The refundable $200 volunteer deposit will be added to your payment during registration (once per family). The deposit will be refunded to your credit card based on the volunteer commitment level assigned to the opportunity when you complete you volunteer commitment.
We are including socks and shorts in the player fees for U9-19 players. See sizing charts
Player Placement and Special Request
Player placement for premier teams is based on tryouts. If you would like to tryout for the premier team, you need to register at this link. http://fortsasksoccer.ca/content/premier-tryouts Any player not present at tryouts or who doesn't make the premier team and wants to play on a Fort Saskatchewan Soccer community team needs to register for the community program during the registration period to ensure a spot on the community team.
Player placement on all community teams is "first come. first served". Player assessment schedules for community leagues if required will be determined once registration is complete. In situations where we receive sufficient registered players to create multiple teams in a program at age levels U9 and above, we will place the players by their birth year on a team so we can keep the players together in future seasons. E.g. All first year players will be on one team and all second year players on another.
Players must register and play in their appropriate age level unless exceptional circumstances are determined by our Technical Committee. For more information refer to our Policy 1210: Player Movement.
Only special requests which are made during online registration will be reviewed. Reviewing a request does not mean it can be granted.
Please click on the links of the Registration - Indoor menu for additional information.

All Fort Saskatchewan Minor Sports Association (FSMSA) sports are governed by the FSMSA Code of Conduct - Zero Tolerance Policy.
