Remember . . . vacant positions mean some children may not be able to play

We are looking for volunteers to fill these positions:
Vice President (2 year position) - Role Description - click here
Field and Facilities Director (1 year position) - Role Description - click here
Sponsorship Coordinator
(committee position - non-voting) - Role Descriptionclick here

Without the help and commitment of our executive committee members our program would collapse. Over 1,100 children play soccer each year because of our volunteers. Some of our most important volunteers are our executive committee members who guide and form the backbone of our program. Our executive committee members attend monthly meetings and have duties pertinent to their position.

District Application -- DENIED

Fort Saskatchewan Soccer was unsuccessful in our bid to become a new soccer district in Alberta. Unfortunately, our application did not receive the support it needed from the other 19 Alberta soccer districts at the November 6 & 7, 2015 ASA Special General Meeting.

We made this application because the Tri-County Soccer, our home district, informed us that starting in 2016 Fort Saskatchewan outdoor teams must play all their games within Tri-County not in Sherwood Park or Edmonton. This means at registration Fort Saskatchewan players will no longer have the option of requesting that their team be a guest team in the Sherwood Park or Edmonton leagues.

Volunteer Activities
Indoor season volunteer opportunities are from July through to the end of March. Outdoor season volunteer opportunities are from February through to the end of July. Volunteers are contacted by email as Fort Saskatchewan Soccer requires volunteers.

It takes over 25,000 volunteer hours each year to provide soccer programs to the over 1,000 children who register for indoor and outdoor soccer each year.
