EMSA and EMSA North
Who is EMSA?
Edmonton Minor Soccer Association is the district play soccer in. EMSA Has a variety community team across Edmonton as well as Club teams as well. This is our governing body when it comes to things like game rules, how we conduct ourselves on the field. EMSA directly reports to Alberta Soccer Association. They make our game schedules and organize fields in Edmonton and area for indoor to play on. Because EMSA is so big EMSA is divided between three Zones. EMSA South, EMSA West and EMSA North.
Which Zone does Fort Saskatchewan play under?
Fort Saskatchewan Plays under ESMA North. EMSA North helps us declare teams community and club to EMSA. However, we have a separate identity unlike other EMSA North communities. We have our own registration platform, we set own fees, organize field time, we have our own club teams, schedule our own practices, and run our own U5 -U7 program.
How Long has Fort Saskatchewan been part of EMSA North?
Since 2021, in the past we were in the Tri County Soccer division, for the benefit of our program and players, we withdrew from playing in Tri County Soccer and asked to be part of EMSA. We were accepted into EMSA North by not only EMSA but ASA, and in the fall 2021 we were officially part of EMSA North.
