2025 Fort Saskatchewan Minor Sports STRIKE Scholarship: In partnership with STRIKE Energy and their generous annual donation towards our operations, FSMSA would like to extend this scholarship opportunity to its members.
Purpose: To recognize and reward senior high school students that participate in FSMSA and encourage them to pursue post-secondary studies.
STRIKE Gold Scholarship: $1000 awarded to applicants
STRIKE Silver Scholarship: $500 awarded to applicants
STRIKE Bronze Scholarship: $250 awarded to applicants
Eligibility: Students with full or part time enrolment at a post-secondary institution in Fall 2025 or Winter 2026. Scholarships awarded will prefer current high school students graduating in June 2025, however any post secondary student that has participated in FSMSA is eligible for the 2025 Strike Scholarship. Proof of enrolment at a post secondary institution will be required before monetary disbursement.
* Applicants must have been involved in at least 1 season of FSMSA sport to be considered for the Scholarship. Applicants with more involvement within FSMSA will be highly considered.
Involvement in the FSMSA sport includes registered players, coaches, game officials and volunteers. FSMSA Sports include: baseball, fastball, gymnastics, hockey, judo, lacrosse, ringette, soccer, basketball within Fort Saskatchewan.
Selection: Applicants will be selected based on a combination
of their academic success, athletic accomplishments, and volunteerism /
community involvement. Selection will prefer current graduating high school students.
