Equipment

What soccer equipment is needed?

For their safety, Alberta Soccer does not permit players to wear any jewelry during games or practices. This includes: earrings, necklaces, bracelets, bobby pins. Taping of jewelry is not sufficient to prevent player injury.

We are providing t shirts for the Junior Arsenal (U5 and U7) players and Socks and shorts for the Arsenal (U9-U19) players.

The short sizes go from youth 2xs to adult 2xl.

Below are links to the sock sizing chart and the short sizing.

The Main sock is available in all the sizes and the Matrix sock starts at the XS size.

All players provide their practice T-shirts, shorts, socks, shoes, shin pads and labelled water bottles.

Parents, please remember to wash your child's jersey, shorts and socks frequently. Shin pads can also be washed and then air dried. Hot dryers can damage jerseys.

Outdoor U5 to U19 players should wear outdoor soccer cleats.

Indoor U5 and U7 players should wear indoor sneakers.

Indoor U9 to U19 players should wear indoor soccer shoes (no outdoor cleats).

Jerseys

U9 to U19 jerseys are on loan to the players. Players will receive a jersey at the beginning of the season once they have provided their coach with a $100 jersey deposit cheque. At the end of the season jerseys need to be returned to the coach washed and undamaged.

Fort Saskatchewan Arsenal players have a new uniform.

The red and white striped jerseys will be replaced with this new jersey as sponsorship becomes available or is renewed. U9 to U19 players should wear solid black shorts and solid black socks
