Assessments

2018 Outdoor Assessments/Tryouts

All sessions will be held at the Dow Center indoor soccer pitch on March 24 and 25. (Due to the Provincials on Mar 17 and 18 and pitch availability, this is the only weekend we can hold our assessment and tryouts prior to the team declarations.)

This season we are combining the assessment and tryout sessions. Assessments/Tryouts are for the players who signed up for the Tri-County League and/or the Premier tryout. Players who signed up for the Development Program only do not attend these sessions. Any player who has submitted a player movement form, must attend the sessions for both divisions, i.e. the division that they are registered in and the division they have requested a move to.

Players who have signed up for the premier tryout must attend the session for their division in order to be considered for the premier team. If you cannot attend, please send an email to info@fortsasksoccer.ca stating you cannot attend the session.  Any player not present for assessment/tryout or who doesn't make the Premier team will play community level

You will need shorts, shin guards, indoor soccer shoes, water bottle and birth certificate for proof of age for the player.

Please arrive 15 - 30 minutes prior to check in and get your pinnie.

SOCKS and SHORTS

Player soccer shorts and socks for U11-19 players will be available to purchase for the 2018 Outdoor Season at the assessments/tryouts.  Based on feedback from past seasons, shorts and socks are no longer included in the registration fees.  Fort Saskatchewan Soccer socks and shorts are part of the team uniform and each player is required to be outfitted with these for league games.  Socks are $10 and shorts are $25. ****CASH ONLY****

These are not required for players registered in the U3, U5, U7 and U9 and development programs.  If a player has Fort Saskatchewan Soccer shorts and socks from past seasons, purchasing new ones is optional.
